I won't be making a regular stop of it, but I'm not afraid to say, I recommend this place and will stop again based on this one experience.

I stuck with an omelette as a safe order. It was not too bad at all..I can't rave as this is pretty standard fare, but it was quick and well prepared, with hash browns, wheat toast and a decent cup of coffee..$9.50 w tax. I left a fat tip too.

Monroe doesn't have a lot of breakfast options. Went there while the wife was out of town. Reasonably attentive service, pretty typical fare. Safe option if you want a bite to eat but nothing exciting.

Had an amazing breakfast here, came back on a Saturday for Prime Rib, Not a good experience. Stick to breakfast and you should be pleased!

The hostess (owner I'm guessing) rang me up, and she too was very friendly and appreciative for my stopping in. It wasn't a peak time, but it was busy. The service was really the standout here..exceeding expectation. I must have arrived when everyone was on their A game..on a holiday nonetheless.

Less than stellar. Came on a Sunday morning for breakfast, 9 am, I know it is a busy time, we did get seated right away, but took 25 minutes until we had coffee and another 30 minutes for food, the wait could have been acceptable but the food was cold when it arrived to our table. I had ordered french toast, flavor was fine but it wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter I had to put on it. My Fiance's meal was the same way, tasted fine but wasn't as warm as we would have liked. Add in the waitress complaining to the table behind us about her working hours, conditions and how much she hated her co workers with less than family-friendly language and you have me seriously considering ever returning to this establishment. Truly a disappointment because I have had plenty of times with good service in the past.

It was very clean and great food.

Went here Labor Day for breakfast and was very pleasantly surprised. I'm not one for going to a former Country Kitchen or the like that has been rebranded..however this doesn't actually have 'family restaurant' on the sign..and I wasn't up for drive-thru.

First impression upon entering, this place was clean and seemingly well kept (didn't use restroom). Big plus! I was warmly greeted and seated and served by a very efficient and friendly server..she was, in fact, quite delightful and obviously well aquainted with some regulars. There was plenty of staff and I could see all tasks being done well. Another server with a smile refilled coffee for me, another plus!
